Join Kate to celebrate the release of her book, One in a Millennial, with a classic Be There in Five Live show followed by a [opt-in] book signing/meet and greet. The theme is Be There in 2005, inspired by one of Kate’s favorite mid-aughts bonding rituals: the all-female pregame.

Channeling a time when our cups were Solo, but we rolled deep, when our expectations were as high as our going-out tops’ price points were low. When night after night, we’d watch our dignity and hems rip at the seams from fashions faster than the speed of light. Celebrating the minutiae of the female millennial experience brings Kate so much joy, and she hopes to create a fun night of reflection, comedy, criticism, and friendship that reclaims the girlhoods we left behind. To Kate, the all-girl pregames of yesteryear are a metaphor for how some of her life's best times happened in the moments when she was waiting to go somewhere else, to be someone else. But our girlish paradise wasn’t simply there to serve as a prequel or an opener for going out-out to things involving men. Looking back on the fun and friendship found inside those walls, she sees how the women in our lives are (and always were) meant to be the main event.

She can’t wait to party like it’s 2005 with all of you!!!

Seating is determined by the venue. Please plan to buy tickets with friends if you want to sit together.

Please note: show time should be 7 p.m. local time for both cities (with doors open at 6 p.m.).
The Minneapolis venue is currently showing an 8 p.m. start time and doors at 7 p.m. We are working to get this fixed but please
check the venue info the day of the show to verify the correct start time as we don’t always have a say.

Ticket prices are also dependent on the venue. The ranges should approximately be:
$35ish base ticket for just the show
$75ish VIP ticket for the show + meet and greet
*If you think you want to meet Kate, take a pic and get your personal book signed, be sure to purchase the VIP ticket! You likely won’t be able to upgrade after your original purchase. These tickets do not include books. If you purchase a VIP ticket, feel free to bring your personal copy of OIAM for Kate to sign when you meet her. Apologies in advance, but Kate won't be able to sign any additional books outside of VIP tickets.
